What is the ZO Skin Health Brightalive Skin Brightener?

If you’re looking for a brighter complexion, this serum may be the answer. It targets everything from hyperpigmentation to a dull complexion and an uneven skin tone to redness.

It doesn’t use hydroquinone or retinol, so it’s ideal for those with sensitive skin, darker skin tones or those whose skin can’t tolerate these ingredients. It’s perfect for those with a small amount of hyperpigmentation who want to treat the dark spots they have and stop any further discoloration from forming.

The serum uses tranexamic acid to brighten discolouration caused by sun damage, niacinamide to even out the skin tone, and papain to exfoliate. There’s also hydrating ingredients like glycerin and natural extracts to soothe and calm irritation.

When do I use the ZO Skin Health Brightalive Skin Brightener?

You can use this product as part of both your morning and evening skincare routine. Simply apply after cleansing to dry skin.

Face Dr top tip: Although this product is designed to be used twice a day, if you’ve got sensitive skin, you may notice a bit of irritation if you use it that regularly. But, don’t worry, you may still be able to use the product. Simply reduce how often you use it in your skincare routine. You can go down to using it just once a day or even every other day. You’ll still see benefits and this should reduce the irritation. You may even be able to then slowly increase the amount you use the product as your skin gets used to it. Your skin expert will be able to advise you on when exactly you should reduce the amount of product you use, if at all.

How do I use the ZO Skin Health Brightalive Skin Brightener?

Simply apply one to two pumps of the product to your face and gently massage the serum in until it’s absorbed. Be sure not to pull too hard on your skin, especially around the eyes. And don’t forget your neck!

Who can use the ZO Skin Health Brightalive Skin Brightener?

ZO’s Brightalive Skin Brightener is designed for all skin types and tones. It’s a mild and gentle formula, so those with sensitive skin shouldn’t see any irritation. It’s also hydroquinone free, so it’s safe for darker skin tones or those prone to discolouration.

How much does the ZO Skin Health Brightalive Skin Brightener cost?

As a ZO stockist in the UK, we’re not allowed to share the brand’s prices online. That’s because the products contain a high concentration of active ingredients and you therefore need expert guidance to make sure you’re using the right products in the right way. This means the products are more prescriptive and can’t be advertised in the same way as a high street skincare product.

However, if you’re looking for ZO prices, all you need to do is create a Face Dr account to find out more. Or you can simply send us an email at hello@facedr.com for a price list.

How can I buy the ZO Skin Health Brightalive Skin Brightener in the UK?

ZO’s prices can’t be displayed online, and their products are also not available in high street stores. But trust us, that’s actually a good thing! The highly concentrated active ingredients are what make these products so effective. To purchase them, you’ll need to speak with a skin expert to make sure you’re using the right ZO products for your skin.

But you can do that without even leaving the house. We offer free online skincare consultations where you can speak with one of our friendly skin experts. On a 30-minute video call, they’ll analyse your skin, ask about your concerns and then recommend the very best products for the job. That may be the ZO Skin Health Brightalive Skin Brightener, of course. But ZO also has other skin-brightening treatments like the ZO Skin Health Retinol Skin Brightener 1% or the ZO 10% Vitamin C Self-Activating. If we think one of these is better suited for your skin, we’ll let you know.
