Rebecca Duncan

Skin Expert

As the skin is the body’s largest living organ, caring for it is essential. My goal is to educate clients and embark upon a step-by-step journey to achieving a healthy complexion.

Biography

I graduated in 2012 from Mary Reid International Spa Academy in Edinburgh. I was awarded Top Student in my class and overall “Student of the Year” throughout all the classes. My award was a months work experience in a 5* boutique hotel in St Lucia. I graduated with Mary Reid certification alongside international qualifications, ITEC and CIDESCO.

Throughout my career I have developed a love for all aspects of the industry. I worked within luxury spas throughout the world, before joining the Tay Medispa team at its launch in 2016. This role sparked my interest in aesthetics and the use of medical-grade skincare to achieve skin rejuvenation. My passion is creating bespoke treatments for my clients; combining ultimate relaxation and luxury, with visible results.

In my spare time I love to practice yoga; I always feel so much better for doing it! I also enjoy to be in the outdoors. I am currently Munro bagging (Scottish mountains that are 3,000 feet and above). I love the open space and sense of freedom in the hills... and you may even experience some beautiful views from the top!

Rebecca's skincare routine

I love the ZO product range; the products have worked wonders for my skin. I have worked with so many skincare brands and tried them all on my own skin, but I have never come across a range that offers such effective results. I used to suffer from acne breakouts and ZO has really helped to clear that up. I use the “fundamental five” plus some key additional steps for acne-prone skin. My favourites are the complexion clearing mask, dual action scrub and instant pore refiner. I love the All Skin Med Growth Factor Eye Contour gel as it is really light and helps brighten the delicate skin around the eyes.

rebecca's top tip

Remember your skin changes with the seasons and is likely to need different products at different times of the year, and also during different times in your life. Therefore always question if you could be getting “more” from your skincare routine, and don’t be afraid to shake it up if you need to.
