Let me first introduce myself and the reasons why I started Face Dr.
Over the past twenty years as a Doctor, I have helped people with skin problems of all kinds, and it is still one of the most satisfying parts of my job. However, for my clients, navigating the skincare market can be a minefield! What are the best ingredients? Which brand should I choose? How do I make sure I’m getting value for money? I began to notice that people were falling into some common pitfalls before they reached me, and I want to help you avoid those.
Have you spent a lot of time, energy and money trying to find products that help your skin? You use them for a few months but don't see a difference, so you buy something new, and this cycle goes on and on until you end up with loads of half-used products on the bathroom shelf.
What if we could find products that really made a difference to how your skin looks without makeup on? Would you stop searching and stick with it? I want you to see the results for yourself. Moments when you catch yourself looking in the car mirror, or waking up in the morning with no make-up on; that’s when you really notice what’s going on within your skin.

Our history
We are a multi-award winning team with decades of experience in aesthetics and skin rejuvenation. Our Tay Medispa clinic was judged Best New Clinic UK & Ireland at the prestigious Aesthetics Awards in London, and Best New Cosmetic Clinic at the Scottish Medical Cosmetic Awards in 2018.
In 2020, the way that we reached our clients had to change. You still needed and wanted the same, high quality, medical grade products for your skin… but could no longer walk into a clinic to get it. You still had skin problems and needed expert advice… but could no longer book an appointment to see someone about it.
So we developed our own bespoke online platform, allowing us to assist clients using video technology. By recreating our award winning in-clinic professional skincare consultation, we bring the same personal service to the comfort of your own home or workplace.
Our mission
We believe that everyone should have access to professional, free skincare advice, no matter where they live and whether they can walk into a local aesthetics skin clinic or not.
We understand that problems with your facial skin can cause distress in many different ways, leading to poor self-image or reduced confidence. Whatever your reason for wanting to improve your skin health, we can help.
So we offer free online skincare consultations with Face Dr Skin Experts. They will carry out a thorough analysis of your skin and discuss your concerns. We take into account your medical history and budget to provide you with recommendations for professional, medical grade products to be used at home.
Everyone’s skin is unique and the product regimes we offer must, equally, be unique for the person in that skin.
We only choose products that we use (and love) ourselves and deliver on results. Our product choices are not linked to company sponsorship, profit margins or kickbacks.
