Product details

SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective PDRN Serum is a lightweight gel serum built around a biotechnological form of PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) — a DNA and RNA complex derived from non-animal sources. It's designed to support barrier repair and calm visible redness with continued use.

An 8% phyto botanical complex of thyme, olive leaf and cucumber helps soothe the skin, while tripeptide-8 helps reduce the feeling of irritation. A hydrating complex of glycerin and hyaluronic acid keeps skin comfortable, and ectoin supports the skin against everyday oxidative stress.

This is a full reformulation of the previous Phyto Corrective Gel.

Directions for use
  • Dispense 3–5 drops onto the palm and gently pat over face, neck and décolleté.
  • In the morning, apply after a SkinCeuticals vitamin C antioxidant serum and before your moisturiser, then follow with SPF. In the evening, apply after any retinol step.

Experts explain

soothe and hydrate

Redness and sensitivity are often overlooked but can significantly impact overall skin health and confidence. SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective Serum is one of my go-to calming serums in clinic. Its lightweight, botanical-based formula helps to visibly reduce redness, soothe irritation, and restore balance to the skin. I regularly recommend it to clients with reactive, post-procedure, or breakout-prone skin who need gentle yet effective hydration and correction.

Phyto Corrective PDRN Serum FAQs

What is Phyto Corrective PDRN Serum?

It's a lightweight gel serum combining biotechnological PDRN with a soothing phyto botanical complex, designed to visibly reduce redness and support the skin barrier over time.

What is PDRN?

PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) is a DNA-based ingredient known for its regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties. In this serum it's produced biotechnologically rather than derived from salmon DNA, as used in some in-clinic PDRN treatments.

Is it safe to use after professional treatments?

Yes — it's doctor-tested for use after non-invasive treatments such as microneedling, laser and chemical peels. Always follow your practitioner's specific aftercare advice.

How long does it take to see results?

Skin typically feels calmer after the first application, with visible reductions in redness building over around 8 weeks of consistent use.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes — it's formulated for sensitive, redness-prone and post-procedure skin, with soothing botanicals and tripeptide-8 to help reduce the feeling of irritation.

Can it help with post-blemish marks?

It's not a primary acne treatment, but PDRN supports skin regeneration and the formula has been shown to reduce the appearance of post-blemish marks by up to 10% in 8 weeks.

Can I use it with vitamin C or retinol?

Yes — it layers well with both, and can help offset irritation from stronger actives when used alongside them.
